The University of Cape Coast School of Business has become a member of the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACB).

Dr. Nicodemus Osei Owusu and Dr. Nana Yaw Oppong have taken over from Dr. Abraham Ansong and Dr. (Mrs.) Rebecca Dei Mensah as Heads for the Departments of Management and Human Resource Management respectively.
    

Department of Human Resource Management Holds Colloquium

The Department of Human Resource Management has held a day's Colloquium aimed at providing a platform for interaction, exchange of ideas among Human Resource experts, practitioners, and academia on contemporary issues in the profession.

The 2020 edition of the colloquium was on the theme: "The Role of Human Resource Management in the New World of Work". Participants included academics, HR practitioners, and students.

UCC to Make Nduom School of Business and Technology a Satellite Campus in the 2020/2021 Academic Year

The University of Cape Coast is exploring the possibility of establishing a campus at the Nduom School of Business and Technology as part of measures to admit more students for the 2020/2021 academic year.

This is in anticipation of the large number of applicants who will be seeking admission as a result of the free Senior High School policy. The first batch of the policy will complete their studies in 2020 and, therefore, there is the need to increase enrolment in the 2020/2021 academic year.

CESED Trains Entrepreneurship Course Facilitators

The Centre for Entrepreneurship and Small Enterprise Development (CESED), UCC, has held a training workshop for Entrepreneurship Course facilitators on campus. 

UB, UCC Graduate 2nd Cohort of Leadership Empowerment Programme

A graduation ceremony has been held for the second cohort of the University of Cape Coast and the University at Buffalo Leadership Empowerment Programme on campus.

A total of 31 postgraduate students who enrolled in the one-year programme were presented with certificates and medals from the University at Buffalo, Center for Leadership & Organizational Effectiveness at the ceremony.

Delegation from University of KwaZulu-Natal Calls on Vice-Chancellor

A three-member delegation from the University of Kwazulu-Natal, (UKZN), South Africa, has paid a courtesy call on the Vice-Chancellor Prof. Joseph Ghartey Ampiah as part of their working visit to the University.

The delegation comprised Prof. Harold Ngalawa (Dean of Research), Dr. Evelyn Derera (Academic Leader), and Dr. Phocenah Nyatanga of the School of Accounting Economics and Finance.

School of Business Presents Awards to 196 Students

The School of Business (SoB) has awarded 196 students for their exceptional academic performance for the 2017/2018 academic year.

 The awardees comprised students from level 100-300 in the programmes of the School namely, BCom (Accounting), BCom (Finance), BCom(Human Resource Management), BCom (Marketing), BCom (Management), and BCom(Procurement & Supply Chain Management).

UCC, UB Graduate 1st Cohort of Leadership Empowerment Programme

The University of Cape Coast and the University at Buffalo (UB) has graduated the first cohort of the Leadership Empowerment Programme.

The first cohort of 23 graduates were presented certificates at the graduation ceremony.
